Foram divulgados ontem os vencedores do Writers Guild Awards 2005, prêmio dado pela associação dos roteiristas americanos aos melhores roteiros escritos para séries, telefilmes e filmes.

Embora dois episódios da temporada final de "Sex and the City" estivessem disputando a categoria de Melhor Roteiro Série Comédia, o prêmio foi dividido entre as séries da Fox "Arrested Development" e "Malcolm".

Já "The West Wing", que também conseguiu múltiplas indicações, superou suas concorrentes "Família Soprano" e "Six Feet Under" na categoria de Melhor Roteiro Série Drama.

Como esperado, "Os Simpsons" levou o prêmio de Melhor Roteiro Série Animação, categoria em que teve quatro episódios indicados.
